  1. !TxAnalyse

  4. !TxAnalyse shreds a piece of text apart into a set of words, produces
  5. a list of all the different words sorted into alphabetical order with
  6. a count of the number of occurrences of each one, matches them against
  7. a dictionary and produces a report. Multiple files can be supplied, in
  8. which case the words are marked according to which 'chapter' the word
  9. occurs in.

  11. Using !TxAnalyse.

  14. Double click on the !TxAnalyse icon to load it onto the icon bar.
  15.  
  16. Drag file/s to the bar icon to enter file names into the main 'SetUp'
  17. panel slot. Alternatively clicking on the bar icon brings up the main
  18. 'SetUp' panel and files can be dragged to this panel, or the file name
  19. can be typed manually into the slot at the top of this panel.

  21. Select options from the 'SetUp' panel, in particular what type of
  22. files are being analysed, and then click on the 'Run' icon. After a
  23. while a Text File 'Analysis' is offered for saving in the same
  24. directory as !TxAnalyse. This file gives an alphabetic list of all the
  25. words in the supplied files with a count, whether they cannot be found
  26. in an internal dictionary (In English, French or German), and which
  27. 'chapters' the words occur in.

  30. Acorn facility !Help, present in the 'Apps' directory.
